Balmain NB Corporation Limited – Testimonial
It is with pleasure that I write this letter of reference in relation to Mick Gayfer and his company Corporate Fitout Solutions (CFS).
Following the relocation from our long term headquarters at 530 Collins St to Level 39/140 William St, we were referred to Mick/CFS to discuss Balmain’s new fitout by our leasing agent colleague at CBRE. Mick was very helpful from the outset and even prior to engaging renowned architects, Bates Smart, provided us with several concept floor plans for our consideration. CFS’s initial drawings were actually the catalyst for the eventual floor plan adopted by our architects and Balmain.
The architect firm, Bates Smart, have a very extensive history and working relationship with many preferred builders yet they advised they had not worked with Mick/CFS previously so initially were somewhat reserved about trying out a party that they did not have experience with. Following several meetings and discussions between the parties the architects were finally satisfied that Mick and his CFS team had the expertise to manage and complete this project.
The CFS team constructed our new office on time and on budget and had us move in several days prior to Xmas, which as you can imagine is not the easiest thing to do with the construction industry typically quite sensitive regarding entitlement leave around the festive period. Nevertheless Mick/CFS never wavered from his commitment to have Balmain relocated by our due date.
As always there were several smaller outstanding jobs that were required to be completed whilst we were at our desks and Mick managed this process very diligently throughout so that there were very few workplace interruptions.
Mick’s professional manner, his strong attention to detail and his excellent communication skills leave me with no hesitation in highly recommending him and CFS to any project that they agree they are suited to. I believe I also speak on behalf of Bates Smart architects who were also very pleased with the manner in which Mick and CFS delivered their project and they have repeatedly brought in new clients to our office as a testimonial to their design and CFS’s construction work.
